Dear Staff, Parents, and Stakeholders,

I am writing to inform you of an important calendar adjustment regarding our upcoming PIR day.

The PIR day originally scheduled for April 24th will be moved to April 17th. This change is necessary to ensure our professional development provider can work with us in person. Having our provider on-site will allow for stronger collaboration, deeper engagement, and more meaningful implementation work.

This professional development is funded through our literacy grant and represents the first step in establishing our own comprehensive instructional framework. This work will help us build consistency across classrooms, strengthen schoolwide literacy practices, and create a clear, research-based approach to instruction that supports all students.

We appreciate your flexibility with this adjustment and your continued support as we invest in meaningful professional learning designed to improve outcomes for our students.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Good morning GPS! The town of Geraldine only lost power momentarily last night. After reviewing the wind forecast for today and consulting with Northwestern Energy we have decided to hold school in session as normal today. More information will be needed to make any determination on hosting tonight's scheduled basketball games, so stay tuned!

Geraldine Public School is excited to sponsor an Angel Tree this year to help support families in our community during the holiday season. Students, staff, and community members are invited to choose an angel and make a meaningful difference for a child in need. If you would like to participate or need a form to sign up, you can contact the school office or stop by in person. Your generosity helps brighten the season for local families.
