As a result of House Bill 745, all unsupervised school volunteers are now required to complete a fingerprint-based background check. This requirement ensures greater consistency and safety in screening practices across the
state.

Board Meeting Agenda
It has been brought to my attention that in my recent letter, published in both the River Press and the school newsletter, the day of the week that I used for our Elementary Teacher Open House was incorrect. The Open House is tomorrow evening, Tuesday, August 12, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience.

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications Now Available

We strongly encourage all families to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application. Your participation not only supports your household, but it also benefits our entire school community in multiple ways.

Completed applications help ensure our school receives appropriate funding and resources, including increased reimbursement from meal programs--allowing us to provide more nutritious food options for students. Additionally, these numbers contribute to our eligibility for important federal grants and educational support programs.

There will be one sent home to every household with the First Day of School Packet, or you may fill out the application online at https://opi.mt.gov/Leadership/Management-Operations/School-Nutrition/Meal-Eligibility#10510811704-forms--policy
