This is a reminder to the Bearcat fans that today's Middle School Basketball games in Centerville start with 1/2 Girls B at 4:00, followed by Boys' and Girls' A games at 4:30 and 5:30.
No Geraldine School Election This Year
A school election will not be necessary this year. Two school board trustee terms are expiring this year,
the seats of Kalyn Joyce and Dan Engellant. Both Kalyn and Dan filed to run for election, with no other
filings for the two seats. Since there were two seats open and two candidates filed, an election is not
necessary for school board trustees. Kalyn Joyce and Dan Engellant were elected by acclamation and will
be sworn in at the regular May school board meeting.
The trustees also determined that a levy election will not be necessary this year either. An increase in
enrollment will assist the General Fund without an additional request from the voters. The General Fund
is used for the instructional programs and general operations of the school.
The attached color coded chart shows the revenue sources for the General Fund Budget and compares
revenue source from last year.
